Direct Thermal Printable Cryogenic Labels are designed for the reliable identification of samples and laboratory containers exposed to ultra-low and cryogenic temperatures (-196°C). These labels are suitable for use on cryovials, microtubes, microplates, glass tubes, freezer boxes, plastic bags and other laboratory storage containers where durable sample identification is required.
The labels are engineered for long-term storage in liquid nitrogen (-196°C, liquid and vapor phase), ultra-low temperature freezers (-80°C), laboratory freezers (-20°C) and transportation on dry ice. As direct thermal labels, they can be printed without the use of a thermal transfer ribbon, enabling efficient and high-volume sample labeling workflows.
Manufactured from a durable polymer film combined with a specially formulated cryogenic adhesive, the labels maintain their flexibility and adhesion under extreme temperature conditions. They provide permanent adhesion to glass, polypropylene, polyethylene and other commonly used laboratory materials without becoming brittle or cracking.
