Solvent and chemical resistant high-performance - thermal transfer labels for identification of microscope slides and tissue cassettes in pathology, cytology and histology laboratories. The labels and the printed information are resistant to Toluene, Xylene, Acetone, Acrylonitrile (ACN), Alcohols, Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO), Hexane, Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK) and other solvents and chemicals, when printed with Xylene & Solvent Resistant Ribbons. The solvent resistant labels will not acquire any coloration from histological stains and will maintain the white background through staining procedures. The labels are specifically designed to fit comfortably on microscope slides, tissue cassettes, pathological specimen storage containers and bottles which will come in contact with harsh solvents and chemicals.
