Removable deep-freeze labels for the reliable identification of 96-well and 384-well microplates, including skirted and semi-skirted microplates, used in PCR, qPCR and sequencing applications.
The labels are suitable for use on microplates used in PCR thermal cyclers and sequencing instruments, as well as for the long-term storage of samples under deep-freeze conditions.
The labels are designed to withstand various temperature conditions encountered during laboratory storage and sample transport, including refrigeration at 4°C, storage in ultra-low temperature (ULT) freezers at −80°C, and transport on dry ice. They can also withstand temperatures of up to +110°C, making them suitable for applications in which microplates are exposed to elevated temperatures during laboratory processes.
The labels feature a glove-friendly, removable adhesive. This allows the label to be repositioned if initially applied incorrectly and later removed without leaving adhesive residue.
The labels are supplied in rolls with 1" or 3" cores and are suitable for printing with thermal transfer printers from major brands. They can be printed with text, barcodes and other variable identification data.
The labels are also resistant to both 10% and 100% DMSO for up to 18 hours.
