Removable autoclave-resistant labels for identification of medical instruments, laboratory glassware and containers during sterilization processes. Suitable for applications where reliable identification is required during sterilization, while labels must be removed afterwards without adhesive residue.
The autoclave-resistant labels are resistant to autoclaving, dry heat sterilization, gamma irradiation and ethylene oxide sterilization (EtO). They maintain stable adhesion throughout the entire sterilization cycle across multiple surface types.
The labels are resistant to high temperatures, pressure and moisture and are designed for a temperature range from -60°C to +150°C. They have been developed for use in sterilization processes requiring temporary but reliable identification.
The autoclave-resistant labels adhere to metal, plastic and glass surfaces and withstand 20 autoclave cycles at +121°C and 16.5 psi pressure (approx. 114 kPa steam pressure). In addition, they are resistant to gamma irradiation up to 50 kGy and ethylene oxide sterilization (EtO).
The maximum temperature may vary slightly depending on exposure duration.
After the sterilization process, the labels can be easily removed from metal, plastic and glass without surface damage and without adhesive residue.
The labels are suitable for use in laboratories, healthcare, pharmaceutical and production environments where temporary identification, traceability and clean removal are essential.
The labels are waterproof and resistant to mild chemicals and disinfectants used in laboratory environments.
Typical applications include surgical instruments, instrument trays, laboratory glassware, blister packs, boxes, tubes, vials and other containers.
Compatible with thermal transfer printers used in laboratory, medical and industrial environments, including Zebra, Datamax O'Neil, CAB, GoDEX, Printronix, Intermec, Cognitive, Citizen, SATO and selected Brady models.
