Autoclave- and dry heat sterilization-resistant labels for the permanent identification of containers, tubes, vials and instruments. Suitable for use in laboratories, healthcare, pharmaceutical and manufacturing environments where reliable identification and traceability throughout sterilization processes are essential.
The autoclave labels are resistant to high temperatures, pressure and moisture and are designed for temperatures ranging from -60°C to +150°C. The labels are designed to withstand multiple autoclave sterilization cycles.
The labels adhere permanently to metal, plastic and glass surfaces and withstand 20 autoclave sterilization cycles at +121°C and 16.5 psi pressure (approx. 114 kPa steam pressure). In addition, the autoclave labels are resistant to gamma irradiation up to 50 kGy and ethylene oxide sterilization (EtO).
The maximum temperature resistance may vary slightly depending on exposure time.
The autoclave labels are waterproof and resistant to mild chemicals and disinfectants.
Typical applications include surgical instruments, instrument trays, laboratory glassware, blister packs, boxes, tubes, vials and other containers.
Compatible with thermal transfer printers from Zebra, Datamax O'Neil, CAB, GoDEX, Printronix, Intermec, Cognitive, Citizen, SATO and selected Brady models.
